Both have been building boats in Cornwall since 1973 and started with the very successful range of Offshore fast fishing boats. Design and construction and all the innovative design features come from the drawing board of Rod Baker. Well over 700 of these fishing craft have been produced with a small team of expert craftsmen working by the River Camel, four miles inland of the Atlantic Ocean. The Catamaran project was thoroughly researched and started about three years ago with the building of the mold tools for the Port-Isaac Sport Convertible. Designed for the USA market and now filtering into the European market as the word spreads. New products and designs are constantly developed at the North Cornwall plant.

The tiny village of Port Isaac is cramped into the valley on the North Cornish coast line facing the Atlantic Ocean. The village has about 1100 residents and the nearest town is Wadebridge where the Port Isaac Cat plant is situated.
